The Bone-Heads Are At It Again.

Earlier this week, Senator from Illinois, Dick Durban tried to defend his stupid anti-English stand as a public safety measure. He said that many innocent people will drown in the Potomac if we can't put caution signs in both Spanish and English. Does this guy think that people who don't speak English are so stupid that they will just walk into the river and drown themselves without a Federal Sign?

This whole imigration thing is turning out like everything else we have to endure with the current crop of bone-heads in Washington. We vote for them to represent us, they thank us for our support, and then move out of the state and ignore our wants and needs.

Most of us, 90% according to most polls, want English to be our official language. It should be illegal to have to "push 1 for English" when making a phone call.

Most of us want to stop invaders from crossing our borders. That means all people who sneal in as well as all the people who stay longer than they are supposed to. And, putting 6,000 National Guard on desks at the border isn't even close to fixing anything.

Most of us think that citizenship should not be the reward for sneaking into the country. What has happened to the concept of right and wrong? These sneakers aren't the upright, hard working people who the politicians are describing. They are the ones who were too lazy to come in the right way, or too dumb to know there is a right way. The millions of industrious hispanics, who just work hard, are as outraged as all of us who aren't hispanic.

Most of us want our politicians to be a lot smarter than the bone-heads in the jobs right now. Let's all remember, during the next couple of elections, who in politics was with us and who wasn't. Don't vote for them because of what they say they will do, vote for their subsequent term on how well they represented you. If we all do that, 90% of the senators will not be back.
